"Mutazione" is an adventure-exploration game created by "Die Gute Fabrik" (Copenhagen, Denmark) and published by "Akupara Games". Mutazione is also the name of the island in the game.

Digital and physical editions are available. Region free, exclusive editions for Nintendo Switch and Playstation 4 on iam8bit with a reversible cover art by Nils Deneken contains also the 11”x17” Poster "Plants and Mushrooms on Mutazione" and a Seed Card code.[1]
About Mutazione[]
Mutazione is also described as a "mutant soap opera where small-town gossip meets the supernatural". Players take on the role of the young Kai, who visits her ill grandpa Nonno on the mysterious island of Mutazione. Once a blooming holiday resort, the island was hit by a meteor called "Moon Dragon" around 100 years ago. Many islanders died, but the survivors soon began to mutate and founded their own little community.

Mutazione invites players to a hand-illustrated adventure with adorable characters, who share their pack of smaller and bigger dramas with Kai in an intriguing story. Kai also discovers the power of gardening and Nonno's secrets around the music of the plants.

Aside from the main story line, the game also offers a Garden Mode which invites players to create their own musical garden. Players can also share their Seeds with other players and this mode also offers new seeds, which can't be acquired in the main story. Other features in the garden mode are: Time control - slowly evolve your garden, playable Cloud Garden, new musical clips.
Update[]
In October 2020, the game received a new free content update of 7 additional unlockable gardens, with new seeds and sounds:[2]
